Good cheap hotel in Paris

I found the Hotel Armstrong where I look for all my hotels at Expedia.com which is an excellent site and then I looked for the official web site.  I chose this hotel because it came across as a good cheap hotel for Paris.  When we got there we were very pleased and although we only planned to stay one night we ended up staying for three!

The bathroom, bed linen, carpet, and everything else in the room was all tidy and clean, and the location was excellent as the metro Porte de Montreuil was just a block away. The front desk person was super helpful, and we had access to the internet which cost us nothing.  I like to save money on hotels so that I can spend more on my food!

We drove to the Armstrong and found the garage was just what we needed although it seemed a bit expensive (14 euros).  For a few nights this hotel is worth more than its cost and so if you are looking for a cheap hotel in Paris I don’t think you can do any better.
